No matter which level of design service you require every project starts with an initial consultation which is free to all clients in our local area. This gives us an opportunity to establish exactly what you are looking to achieve and for us to get to know you and get to grips with your personal style and tastes. At this stage we may also complete a survey of the room/s that your are looking to have designed comprising digital measurements, photographs and sketches.
Each design stage can be commissioned individually or as a complete package and our fees are structured accordingly.
Stage One: If you are simply looking for design advice and direction this is the route for you. Following on from the initial consultation we will create a detailed design brief that will include your functional requirements and aesthetic preferences.
Based on the brief we will create design presentation boards for each room detailing colour, materials, furnishings, lighting and layout.
Stage Two: In addition to Stage One, at this stage the initial concepts will be developed in to detailed designs and 3D visuals where required to help you better understand the final design scheme and layout of your property. We will produce all tender and specification documents as required for lighting, electrics, joinery, plumbing and any other services required.
Using these documents we will obtain quotations for all works to be undertaken. Alongside this we will produce purchase documents for all furniture, furnishings and equipment for approval.
Stage Three: This sees the implementation of the design scheme. Working with trusted local trades people and suppliers we ensure that the best prices are obtained whilst managing the schedule of works and organising all products and deliveries.
We keep you informed of timescales and budgets along the way to ensure that for you the customer it is as stress free as possible.
For a minimum fee (plus additional hourly rate as required) according to the three levels of experienced design the project demands we offer and ad-hoc hourly rate advice service. This service suits business, pre-purchase and general advice on industry related design.
If your brief requires the use of an architectural designer we appoint 3eleven Architectural Design who we have worked closely with over the years.
